Regulatory sizing
MARPOL garbage placards are required to be at least 8”×5” (33 CFR 151.59). Oil pollution prevention placards must be at least 5”×8” (33 CFR 155.450). All HarborSPEC compliance placards meet or exceed these minimums. Required on all manned commercial vessels 26’ and greater operating in U.S. navigable waters.
