HarborSPEC was built out of over a decade running tugboats in New York Harbor. After years of watching stickers peel and laminated sheets yellow in the wheelhouse, I wanted something that actually looked the part — so I started making my own.

The first plaques went up on my own boat. When other guys on the water started asking about them, HarborSPEC became a business.

Every plaque is made from PETG-CF carbon fiber composite with fully raised text — not printed on, not laminated, built into the material. It holds up in the marine environment because it was designed for it.

The wheelhouse on a tugboat is a workspace. The information posted there matters. It should look like it matters too.
